Chris Lensch attended the Columbus College of Art and Design, and graduated in 1989 with a major in illustration and a BFA.

In 1994 after a move to Colorado, Chris began freelancing full time. Since then his work has appeared in many national publications and he has also produced work for clients such as AMD, MCI, The New York Times, The LA Times, Compaq, Piggy-Toes Press, Houghton Mifflin and Us West. He has been featured in Step By Steps Electronic Design, and received awards from the Society of Illustrators Los Angeles, How, Graphis, Step by Step, the Society of Publication and Design, and Lürzers's Archive.

He is now living in northern Michigan with his wife, three children, their dog, and an annoying parakeet. He spends as much time as possible fishing.
